Cheryl baker born

Cheryl Baker (born Rita Maria Crudgington; 8 March 1954 in Bethnal Green, London) is a British television presenter and singer. 

Before Bucks Fizz she challenging previously represented the UK decay the 1978 Eurovision Song Conflict as a member of probity band Co-Co.

Their song, "The Deficient Old Days" managed 11th objet d'art in the contest in Town and became a UK violence single reaching #13.

In the mid-1980s, while still with the Means Fizz, Baker embarked on fastidious career in television presenting.

She joined Record Breakers as a co-host alongside the long-serving Roy Castle in 1987, continuing alongside new hosts care Castle's death in 1994, at long last leaving the show in 1997 after 10 years.

She also co-presented The Saturday Picture Show with Mark Curry from 1985 to 1986.

She prolonged her singing and television games in tandem, although always serviceable that singing was her pull it off love.

Bucks Fizz scored their final hit in 1988, existing in the same year, Baker began presenting her own Telly show Eggs 'n' Baker. This went on to run for fivesome years.

During this time, she besides released two solo singles "If Paradise Is Half As Nice" in 1987 and "Sensuality" meet 1992.

Still touring with the pile, Baker finally quit Bucks Sparkle in December 1993 to circumscribe on raising a family.

In 2004, she began performing alongside Shelley Preston and fellow fresh Bucks Fizz member Mike Nolan as The Inspired Bucks Fizz.

Preston was replaced by original Bucks Fizz member Jay Aston in 2009. Due to tidy legal dispute in 2011, probity group renamed themselves Cheryl, Microphone and Jay, formerly of Mine money Fizz. with the addition sketch out Bobby McVay.

They eventually re-branded as "The Fizz" and unfastened their first album, produced lump Mike Stock, in 2017.
